Quantum biofeedback is a non-invasive alternative to discovering what stress is doing to our bodies and changing it. Quantum Biofeedback integrates the laws of quantum physics and the largest medical software program in the world to scan your body like a computer virus scan. The resulting information provides the key to what stressors your body is reacting to and the solutions to retraining your mind and body to heal itself. Stress comes from many sources including toxicity from heavy metals, chemicals or prescription drugs, trauma, pathogens like bacteria, viruses or parasites, perverse energy like microwaves and cell phones, allergies, nutritional imbalances, mental factors and many more.

The National Institute of Health (NIH) reports that 60-90% of illnesses are stress-related. It has become an epidemic as six of the leading causes of death in this country are linked to stress - heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, cirrhosis, and suicide. Stress is also expensive. It costs American industries more than $300 billion annually in lost productivity and workers compensation benefits (The American Institute of Stress).

Quantum Biofeedback is a relaxing option to de-stress our body and create positive changes in our lives.

Quantum Physics

Quantum is the smallest possible unit. As much as we believe, or have to believe, that we can "see" everything, we can perceive only 4% of matter and energy. The other 96% is beyond the visible spectrum- it is undetectable matter. The Quantum Energy Field is not visible but the human body is controlled and regulated by it. Both Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines acknowledge a body system of meridians, through which flows an energetic and information-laden substance know as Chi.There are numerous electrical forces at work within the body - fundamental regulatory processes that involve many different kinds of electronic energy. Every human thought and action is accompanied by electrical activity in the nervous system and by bio-photon communication among cells. A Nobel Laureate, Carlo Rubbia proved that matter is less than a billionth part of the manifest cosmos. Everything else is pure energy phenomena of interaction, information fields and resonance.

We know various instruments that can assess the body's electrical phenomena. picture of hands holding an atom Brain nerve cells, when stimulated, create electrical energy which activates nerves. This is recorded as brain waves by an electroencephalogram or EEG. The nerve activities cause muscles to shorten and move the body, and to stimulate the heart, lungs, blood vessels, intestines and glands. When a muscle shortens, an electrical current is generated which can be recorded by an electromyogram or EMG. The electrical heart activity is picked up by an electrocardiogram or EKG.

With Quantum Biofeedback, the accuracy and reliability of the EPFX System is based on decades of research conducted in the field of bio-energetic and bio-response. The body is measured via responses to impedance, amperage, voltage, capacitance, inductance and measures sixteen electrical parameters of the body. This makes the EPFX unique. Tri-vector resonant frequencies (a mathematical calculation of the relationship between voltage, amperage and resistance) of substances are compared to the tri-vector resonant frequencies of your body. In a nutshell, Quantum Science along with Traditional Biofeedback or Classical Biofeedback merge to create Quantum Biofeedback.

What is Biofeedback?

Biofeedback is a method which teaches subjects to control bodily functions, such as heart rate, blood pressure, headache, pain, and muscle tension through a process which includes conditioning, feedback instrumentation, behavior modification, and adaptation mechanisms. With Biofeedback, the individual can increase awareness and learn self-regulation of some bodily functions.

Quantum Biofeedback, facilitated through use of the EPFX-SCIO system, is the most profound energetic biofeedback system currently available and is leading the way to non-invasive, drugless relaxation for stress and pain management.

How Does the EPFX-SCIO Work?

picture of an EPFX machine

The EPFX requires only five comfortable straps that wrap around your wrists, ankles and forehead. A quick three-minute test is performed energetically and the results are fed into the computer software. This provides the Practitioner with information about the state of the energy and stressors most prevalent in the body at that time. After gathering test results, the data offers an understanding of your potential needs. It can reveal the specific stressors which could be the underlying issues surrounding your body's ability to heal. Healthy frequencies are then fed back to the body to address the stressors energetically.

What is Stress?

picture of a person with a headache

Stress is a psychological and physiological response to events that upset our personal balance in some way. In small doses, stress can be a good thing. It can give you the push you need, motivating you to do your best, and to stay focused and alert. Prolonged stress, however, can take a serious toll on our mental and physical health and well being.

Our body's stress response is that of "fight-or-flight" which involves a cascade of biological changes that prepare us for emergency action. When danger is sensed, the brain's hypothalamus sets off a chemical alarm. The sympathetic nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol. These hormones race through the bloodstream.

Heart rate and blood flow increase, blood vessels constrict, pupils dilate, and our blood sugar ramps up. Simultaneously, non-essential body processes are suppressed: the digestive and reproductive systems slow down, growth hormones are switched off, and the immune response is inhibited. Symptoms manifest that put our body in an alarm phase where we are consciously aware something is not right.

This response is challenging, but we can counteract it by learning how to evoke the relaxation response. This is a state of deep rest that can bring our system back into balance, reducing stress hormones, slowing down our muscles and organs, and increasing blood flow to the brain. The relaxation response brings a renewed sense of well-being and vitality and returns our bodies to homeostasis.

Many times however, stress continues unaddressed, and our body will go into an adaptation stage where it is symptom free. This is not a sign of good health as you can have a life threatening disease like heart disease and experience any symptoms. When the adaptation phase collapses, our bodies enter the exhaustion phase where it is more vulnerable to constitutional or inherited "weak links" and there is a re-emergence of original alarm symptoms that are much worse. We react to stress on the conscious and unconscious levels and it is in the unconscious level that biofeedback can address the stressors.

Causes of Stress

There are many causes of stress which include:
  • Allergens - environmental, food sensitivities, emissions, pollution, pollen, tobacco smoke
  • Bacteria and viruses
  • Chemicals - pesticides, paints, growth hormones, herbicides, cleaning agent, man-made chemicals
  • Dehydration
  • Emotional Issues - fear, anxiety, anger, depression etc.
  • Employment
  • Exercise
  • Fast Foods
  • Financial Problems
  • Fungi and fungal infections - ingested or inhaled
  • Genetically Modified Foods
  • Headaches, Migraines
  • Heavy Metals-arsenic, lead, mercury
  • Lack of Sleep
  • Medical Conditions
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Overworking
  • Pain-any kind, mental or physical
  • Parasites
  • Prescription Drugs
  • Psychological Conditions
  • Radiation-cell phones, microwaves, computers, x-rays
  • Relationship Problems-any kind
